It's great that there's been so much competition between the companies helping make gear affordable for everyone.

I just picked up the holy land lark M2 camera kit last week and I wanted to buy the full kit so I could plug it into my cell phone and my iPad but I figured just buy the camera kit cause that’s what I need it most for. But in the camera kit, it came with a USB-C cable to USB-C and USB-C cable to lightning cable. And you can plug the camera receiver into your cell phone using the USB-C cable and you can download the app if you want, but the microphone works using the camera receiver. I thought I found something that nobody knew about, but I only found one other reviewer of this microphone that actually said the same thing. But the kit that comes with all the receivers, you can adjust the volume using those receiversonly with the camera receiver. I didn’t know if you knew that, but I just wanted to share it is one great microphone. Definitely my favorite. Thanks for sharing and good luck to the winner who receives it they’ll definitely love it.

I'd love to see a day in the life video where you go over your productivity workflow. A virtual job shadow on a commercial shoot where you detail the steps to a paid gig would also be really cool!

Going from a classic lavalier to this one is a welcome change especially for filming with small electronic parts like I will

I'd like to see the Lark 2 vs the DJI mic mini mic showdown!

I’d love to see a video on story boarding! How you plan out your shoots! Everyone emphasize on the importance but don’t talk about in detail!

DJI Mic Mini will be a hard competition ;)

These are my favorite mics ever. They’re so convenient. About to buy them in white. I shoot lots of testimonials after conferences. It’s so easy to pop these on people. Get a quick testimonial for my clients.

I've been watching a lot of IRL streams recently and I see these adorable tiny mics on every streamer. I was just now in the shower wondering how I would find the exact mic they are using for my dream of doing my own outdoor cooking show and no joke, I open up my Youtube page and see this video. I could not believe it and took it as a sign from the universe to pursue my dream no matter how hard it will be.
Thank you!

It's good to see a mic that doesn't take so much attention because of it size. I can se myself using it.
I would like to see a video about the the Osmo Pocket III and the iPhone 16 Pro combo, i believe the two best small / best value cameras right now.

I’d love to see both mics used simultaneously for a wedding situation capturing audio of the vows for example and the fun extra behind the scenes shots.

The paper thin depth-of-field cataract effect is so much fun for a product video. 🧐😵‍💫

I’d enjoy seeing more job shadowing videos. In particular bringing us into your thinking process especially when faced with tough or non ideal situations. Expanding on the “how’s” and “why’s” as you navigate production decisions.

FTF member here! Looks like an awesome mic! At the end of the day, saying that you wish you had somewhere to plug in a wire is reasonable but it reminded me that this just isn’t the use case for this mic. It’s great to have options, so maybe a wired situation would be where you take out a different mic, but it looks like I might use this 80+% of situations!

Video idea: Popping into shoots with other FTF members to help out. Maybe make a post and see who could accommodate you tagging along. You could do interview questions along the way and it would be interesting imo

You’re doing great, Landen! Keep it up!

I love the videos where you go over optimising settings of cameras many people are likely to own (phones / action cameras) so that almost anyone can up their game with the tools they already possess. It might be a fun challenge to try an actual (or simulated) job shadow for client work where the filmmaker is limited to only these sorts of cameras, just to see how far they can actually be stretched by the average person? Can see tools like the Lark M2s coming in clutch for those sorts of shoots!

As a nature lover I'd like to see more content of how to film in a wild.
1. what you would consider as an essential gear when you are going to film in a wild which means it's not all your heavy gear
2. Lenses and colour control in a sunny weather or on a go
3. May be some storytelling

P.S. thanks for great content

The black Friday deal for $111 was a no brainer. Thanks for suggesting.

I would love to see a video on editing workflow for interviews (like choosing the best takes, splicing together statements from different takes, re-ordering statements, etc), especially something along the lines of how to more efficiently cut a short video (30-90secs) for social media from a large amount of footage
