I modded mine with 32gb 7500mhz and it is running like smooth butter ahah!! I am fully modding mine and will get the new 76wh battery replacement! I know z2 is around the corner and I am loosing money / performance but it is fun to do this type of projects! I also got the backplate from HandledDIY and temps are much lower! Downgraded to bios 338 and can have fully control over my fans without the overheating issue! Pairing with a XG mobile and 9.5/10 desktop replacement!

My best experience with the Ally X has been playing FF7 Remake, 900p, high settings, 30fps, with upscaling to 1080p and doubling the frame rate on lossless scaling. Lossless scaling really opens up making the games look and run as good as possible on the windows PC, and with the newest version of Lossless Scaling I haven’t experienced ghosting or latency when doubling frame rate. Highly recommend.

1:21 use lossless scaling. Life saver. Playing Indiana Jone locked to 30 in game and now 60 with lossless. Works quite well.

guys, this is the best hand held to buy in 2025 and 2026 - and the main reason is the PRICE! you can get one used for around $320 (z1 extreme version) and that is an amazing value as you can play and emulate almost anything

Mostly high settings on 1080p on BO6 and I’m still hitting 60ish fps with power cable plugged in.

Avatar frontiers of pandora needs more total RAM I run at a native 720p with rsr enabled to bring it up to 1080p and lock the game to 30fps. It's incredibly stable and still beautiful! But I am on the Ally X

Seems like developers want to lose the PC market, there’s a limit on what people will be willing to pay or sacrifice in graphics to keep up with releases… some will just move to consoles for playing AAA games, others will lose interest in gaming to much and will be fine with light gaming on a phone or something like that, and others are gonna go for Switch and newest. But there’s a limit…

Out of my 16gb ram inside my gaming laptop almost 6gb ram system usage 7gb cached and only 3gb for usage and I use rammap to clear cached ram, yes we need 32gb in 2024

I love my Rog ally, but Microsoft and their 24h2 update is beyond horrible, I keep getting BSOD on some games and scenarios after a clean Windows 11 install.
