Canon 6d vs Nikon d750 lowlight comparison

A not very scientific comparison between the canon 6d and the Nikon 750 in video mode. So not scientific that I can't prove that those were the exact ISO settings. While both cameras are at the same settings at the same time, I can't recall if at one point they were both at 5000 or 6400, etc.

Shot really fast during the dinner portions of a reception. Edited really fast, so much so that bs should be vs in the title slide.

Although the test isn't scientific it was mostly just to tell me if the 750 was worth thinking about as my replacement cameras or if I should invest in something else. I was impressed by the details in the seat handle on the Nikon compared to the Canon, and how the Nikon appeared to be a great deal brighter at each ISO than the Canon. The drawback I found was the noise in the 750 image. Which was shocking because of how clean the stills from the camera look. Since I'm a documentary shooter that finds myself needing to shoot at 10k ISO sometimes this is a deal breaker for me. Someone who has more control over what they shoot would probably not be bothered by it.

If more people want a more stable and controlled test (where I remember my settings better!) then sometime in the future I'll knock one out. Just let me know.

Nikon cameras are okay. I don’t like the colder colour tone of them though. they also have incredibly poor layouts on the interface and are not built like canon are. I will always stick with canon even if Nikon produced slightly sharper images.

A comparison made where more is required to the camera, all cameras give good performance in good light, in low light is where you can test the approach, tolerance high iso, dynamic range, aspects that help you do better job post ( Edicion), for this same aspect was my change from canon to nikon and saved me enough work, not to mention that I do not see my photos so saturated in low light, I have the freedom to be able to upload to iso 3200, with almost clean image, doble slot card and tilt screen .

In my experience the D750 is slightly better in image quality but woeful reliability. It is made in China whereas the 6D is made in Japan and believe me that speaks volumes for straight out reliability and durability. In almost 3 years (shutter count 87, 360) the 6D hasn't missed a beat and it has had a very tough life. Only wear is on the upper body. D750 went in twice for repairs (luckily under warranty). After the second return the dealer kinda suggested that I should upgrade to D810 for better reliability. But I ended up selling the D750 as I hate the stress of sending anything in for repairs. Shutter count at time of selling was 11, 910. I really hate the fact that there is no direct button on the 6D for white balance What a dreadful omission

6d mark ii vs d750 which one better for photo ?

I feel canon is better interms of quality of image... M buying one shortly after a lot of research I have done in past few weeks.
