Ladies and gentlemen, hello and welcome to the presentation of the 2023 Dakar. The time has come to unveil the mysteries of the greatest rally-raid in the world and present the brand-new course of the 45th edition, entirely in beautiful Saudi Arabia.

Now Dakar rally is like what Pharaohs rally was in the 80's. I like it, its great, but it was a preparation to The PARIS - DAKAR. Just think about the word combination "Paris - Dakar" what it really means. Today Dakar is just another sand race, back then it was pheonominal challenge. "Paris - Dakar" you can feel the massive distance and how long is the rally.

Now makes sense why everybody on the forum complains about dakar... what a boring rally even before starts... when it comes back to lisbon or paris with less expensive vehicles for competition and enthusiasm then I will see, otherwise a waste of time. the presentation with sailboats 😮‍💨 ... so poor criativity, no enthusiasm, no mistic theme... poor poor poor ... so furstrating and disapointing
