I’m surprised about how many people actually believe Mexico is a “poor country” don’t get it twisted poor and corrupt are two different things. There’s enough money to go around in Mexico but sadly it never actually arrives it’s initial destination and gets lost in the long chains of command. US has the same problem as well they’re just most careful about it.

I remember my mom once told me how safe Mexico was back in the 70s-90s. She could walk out at in the middle of the night without a fear. There was barely any violence compared to today and she lived in a pretty poor area. Idk how who let Mexico turn into a war zone.
