Great game by Gause. I know they got burned a few times but I am really loving how aggressive the Jay's are under the new regime. Charlie had this team playing safe with no real identity, truth is he really wasn't a great manager especially when it came to lineup decisions, the way he handled the bullpen cost us two many games.

I get the strategy of being aggressive on the base paths but you've gotta have some common sense too. It's true that defenses can sometimes be lackadaisical on balls that are "assumed" to be singles, but some of those attempts by the Jays are just poor judgement about your own base running and the ability of even average MLB arms in the outfield.

Dial it back just a little. Running yourselves out of innings when it's totally not necessary is just bad fundamentals.
