Not gonna lie, this song hits hard. I broke up with my ex over 8 years ago but it was messy, she was my first and only girlfriend and I still think about her to this day. Just like the lyrics I don't ever want to get back with her, but what she did to break up with me has left me scarred and reluctant to ever get into a relationship again (we were living together when we broke up, she couldn't even wait until I moved out for her to start dating and started bringing men back to the house, thankfully we were in a house share and I had my own room but it still hurt). So yeah this song hit me way too hard but is ironicly one of my favourite helluva boss songs to date.

The fact that Verosika served Blitzø his own heart on a silver platter is hilarious.
But I love that Blitzø didn't eat it. Compared to how he acted at Bee's party after what happened at Ozzie's, this is a great and subtle indicator that he does want to change. Also Blitzso they way he talks to Versoika is a little bit more open than it was with his ex could remind you that he has been through so much stuff in his past he cant open up until everything is thrown in his face and makes him think about his actions as a whole instead of being willfully ignorant. He has a fear of loneliness even though his ex made it plain as day that he wanted someone to love him. Blitzo was being very condescending with his ex in the first part of the video because he was too blinded by his own greed for sex and wanting to feel like he was earning his way to torment and do evil or do his job. I recognized that right away because i used to be like that but i can to the realization that i was going inevitably going to be alone it made me start taking a look at my inner self as a person and see what i was was afraid of and that my friends is being alone. No one wants that unless they have make that ultimate decision to do so or they have come to accept that they will be, in which i have not and probably never will. 1:09
