6C, 4D, 2E, 1F, 4G, 2A, 4B, 3C

Reverse:
3C, 4B, 2A, 4G, 1F, 2E, 4D, 6C

-- When I first tried it before watching this video, it seemed like I could play G, A, B, C on the same positions as the lower sequence C, D, E, F. So G on the same position as the lower C, A on the same as D, etc., up to the higher C on the first position. Is that possible at all, or is my ear and/or my eye so much off?
(I'm a complete beginner.)

Quick question..
Is trombone a transporting instrument ? meaning that if the written pitch is, for example, G.. we should play A so that the sounded pitch is gonna be the same as concert pitch ? Just like what we do in trumpet...in which we play D to sound a C concert or "C in concert pitch" or " C in piano sound"
