So no one ever detected any god-awful smell from creepy locksmith's dead rotting corpse in the attic, not to mention the creep himself? And how the hell can a skeletal creep who only had Chinese food and a swig of milk easily pull a 100-pound girl up the ceiling with one hand, let alone carry a grown man up a flight of narrow steps twice? And whatever happened to Monty the cat? Did the creep eat him?

Damn everybody hates the ending. I didn't think it was bad at all. Kind of reminded me of the first Sinister film, cause they basically tell you whats gonna happen to prepare you for the ending.

I just watched the movie and i must say it's a pretty good movie. I didn't expect much of te movie, but i'ts a really great suspensful Horror Thriller. Defenitely worth a watch!

I really liked the movie. It wasn’t just a ghost movie, but actually something that can happen. There were a lot of good scenes that actually make you freeze and make you question yourself “what if I turn around and I see something???” and other creepy thoughts like that. Some people think that the pedophile was useless, but I think it was really good character, because it makes you think he’s the problem and then BOOM! The end also wasn’t bad at all- the second family looked exactly like David’s family and he killed them in the same way… I liked the movie a lot. But I didn’t understand one thing and if somebody can explain it… What was the whole thing between David and the girl? Was he in love with her, because he watched her every night, under the shower, the creepy thing with the wine and the cuddles… or did he associated her like her sister, because he put his sister’s necklace on her and then killed her?! And in the same way as her sister

I'm personally a fan of horror movies and this one is... different. No ghosts, just a mentally ill guy living in a normal family's house. It was funny and scary at the same time because the mentally ill guy was so quiet and ate pickles and drank milk in the middle of the night. It wasn't what I was expecting (which is a good thing) and I would recommend this movie to you. I'm just saying; this isn't the average, typical, everyday horror movie you'd see. I watched it twice and I'm considering a third time. 10/10. If you wanna watch it, can you tell me what you thought about it?

It is not clear to me if David loved Hannah for romantic purposes, as in the scene where she is taking a shower, or he wants her as his dead sister since, after he put her to sleep with a sleeping pill, Hannah wakes up with the necklace that David places her while she is unconscious...
