Trial For Dummies – Your One-Stop Shop for Beginners

We ask the dumb questions everyone is too embarrassed to ask about trial bike specifics and the discipline in general. This is our experience with GasGas’ TXT Racing 300 trial bike, featuring trial bike newbie, Transmoto’s Andy Wigan, and one of the most knowledgeable trial experts in the country, The Hell Team's Paul Arnott.

I sure love riding trials bikes. Been riding them since 1972 and never competed in an event. I just love them in the woods and on the coal piles. Started out on a Yamaha TY and currently riding a Gasser 300

Just came across the video. Thank you both. Great information. Trials is a niche market and not as common as other forms of riding. I would love to see more and hope this and other videos are pushed to the masses. Briefly owned a GASGAS Contact 250 in the US. Planning to purchase another GASGAS once I get back in 2022. I enjoyed and appreciate your time and information in the video.

That's great! I just recieved my front caliper from the hell team! Was concerned because of the lock downs, but they got it to the US In very good timing

Thanks for highlighting the sport some! :) The video was a bit heavy on the GASGAS sales pitch, but other than that there was also some good general info.

lol...the "expert" explains the nomenclature that we "compete in Trials", but we "ride a Trial bike"...then promptly says "most trials bikes"...BTW, I completely disagree with him...they have been called Trials bikes since I was a teenager in the 60's and the events have also been called Trials events. Let's respect tradition and call them Trials bikes.
