I'm not sold lower cost housing will solve anything. It's supply and demand, the low-cost housing will just go up in value/price like every other housing option.

Further, the idea that everyone gets to live in Seattle is completely foreign to me. It's always been an expensive place to live. I can't afford to live that close to where I work and have a 45 minute commute. That's kinda how it is everywhere and there's nothing wrong with it.
