1:32 "Gita does not advocate war". That is partially true. Gita advocates duty. The kingdom had been wrongfully usurped from the Pandavas and when all forms of talks with Kauravas had failed then war was the last and only resort resort.

I didn't read Gita. Your summary makes it so clear and easy to understand what is in Gita. Thank you for sharing. When I was very little my Dad used to go read it at a temple (in India) on weekends and a lot of people would sit around and listen. He died when I was 6 years old! It's so long ago....I am here in US now but I still think about those times and think about my Dad :( !!
