As a senior helping an injured, senior senior, I’m very grateful to learn how to stay independent well into our senior years. Thank you for this very detailed explanation and visual representation of the techniques you advocate. You make great videos and I immediately subscribe.😊❤

Thank you. I am in a nursing facility right now but working toward going home. This technique has helped me greatly toward independence.👏👏👏
I showed my occupational therapist this method and she was so pleased. I told her I had gotten this method of getting in and out of bed from you.
Please place other methods of mobility on this youTube station. It will help me greatly. Again, thank you so much.

OMG THANKS!!!! You are so special.... I have the biggest smile right now. I never imagined a request being addressed.. WOW I cannot thank you enough.... I am just seeing this video because I really enjoyed the previous video on the lock knee. I stayed on this video... It was perfect and in just a few days I am already getting results.

I will start working on this today! I will no longer have to use my compensatory strategy any more (my husband 😂😂) he says thank you as well.... he may even get his side of the bed back!!!

I absolutely ADORE these functional videos. My mind and body tend to lock into functions strategies and retain the new practical reinforced movements!

Thank you! I’ve been using a bed rail that slides between the mattress and box spring to get in and out of bed and to roll onto my side in the middle of the night. I can see now how that has caused some left side neglect and made me dependent on the rail. I’m going to try these facilitating techniques tonight in the hopes of getting rid of that aid before long! Thanks again for your practical videos I use a lot of them and have purchased many of the items you reference in the description area - what a huge help 👏👏

I had a Honda CRV low to the ground. Hard to get in very hard to get out of the vehicle. Got a GMC Terrain higher seat so much better in 2 weeks only drove it maybe 6 or 7 times but am so much better not getting up from such a low seated position or down into such a crowded low vehicle. What a difference.

I don’t know if it’s an appropriate request, but as a senior trying to help an older senior get in and out of fed after falling and injuring his back, I have strained my own back. I wish to avoid becoming unable to help my senior roommate. Thank you in advance!😅❤

Video exceptional. Will need further instruction going from chair to upright position, entering in and out of shower as well as a passenger in the car. Physical pain and shortness of breath are ongoing health related issues. We appreciate all the help you can provide. Thank you!

I am now looking at your videos and trying some of the exercises. I had an open brain surgery and suffered a weakness on my left side. I find them very helpful since my condition is similar to a stroke. I have a lot of spacity which I work on a lot of stretches that helps. Your videos are very helpful 👍💪

Hard to describe how difficult these sorts of basic motions are after a stroke - first time the physios sat me up in bed my sitting balance failed immediately and I fell to the side - the body awareness issues are hard to describe to people - it's easy to explain the problems caused by weakness and numbness but the more subtle problems of failing proprioception are harder to explain - the tip of holding onto your weak arm to keep track of it is excellent. I've learned to lift onto my elbow with both arms through trial and error - the advice given here is excellent. Unfortunately I only had four brief visits from a physio after being discharged from hospital - after this I was ditched and have had no physio input for 5 years. Luckily I've been referred to the fall prevention team, so hopefully I'll get some support in 4-6 weeks.
