I’m starving the cancer inside me… one mouthful at a time.

I believe DIET is one of the cornerstone pillars of overcoming the disease. My latest vid tells you what I’m (not) putting in my mouth. It’s not an easy journey… but I’ve only got ONE chance to regain my health.

If you’re going through cancer and still eating the way you did before… hopefully this helps and is food for thought.

It's so sad to think back to these videos and realize how many of life's pleasures he cut out of his life only for the cancer to get him anyway. RIP Mark, we'll all miss the hell out of you.

I had cancer which reoccurred twice within 6 months of being cleared after treatment. The 3rd time round I compared diets and statistics etc and found people who fast have the lowest rates of cancer. I came across Valter Longo who suggests fasting for 3 days before chemo and 1 day after (still drink water) I did this once with my very last chemo. I've now being cancer free for 3 years. If you have nothing to loose it's worth a try

So very helpful Mark. I am in awe at how you are able to do all of this during treatment. I've just recovered from my last chemo embracing and healing stage 4 breast cancer. I'll be doing most of this now to get stronger than ever. Please keep doing your videos.

I appreciate this video and understand how tempting it is to believe that if we alter our diet and lifestyle, then we may stave off cancer. I went the holistic route instead of doing the recommended meds and radiation. I began, fasting and focusing on a more healthy diet including juicing and eating mostly plant based. I increase my exercising and gave up almost all processed foods. Then I realized I also had some internal work to do as I noticed I held on to tension in my body over my heart almost right in the area where I had cancer. The truth is, we can only do our best to prevent an occurrence of reoccurrence and we are guessing. It’s not in our hands and we do our best. We don’t know exactly which factors played a role in cancer. It’s clear genetics is not that big of a factor as once believed. Generally speaking lifestyles and environmental factors impact our health much more than genetics. It seems that if we focus on our diets too much, we are living in fear of eating the wrong things and then we are focused on the fear of cancer instead of living our lives with trust, certainty and intention of being well. I would say to ask yourself whether you are living with the intention to be healthy and well, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually or are you focused on fear of getting cancer or it reoccurring? We get what we think about, so think about joy, health and abundance and that’s what we get. There is no sense in eliminating every single thing we love since then we are no longer living our best lives. The odds are that some, chocolate an occasional treat, yogurt with berries or an having an apple is not going to create cancer occurring or reoccurring. Enjoy life, do your best to be healthy in all areas of your life and be ok with the fact that we will all die. If we only wake up every day and worry too much that something we eat or don’t eat may cause our death then we aren’t really focused on health we are fearful about dying. Focus on living well in all areas of our lives including our diets and all is well.

Excellent advice. You remain an inspiration. I follow dietary guidelines of a lady in NZ who has done some work in the cancer space and it speaks the same as what you are addressing for the most part. She just recommends eating a fruit serve on the morning that you do chemo. That is for the reason that you mentioned that cancer loves sugar. So the thinking behind it is that as a general rule you starve the cancer as you state but if you give the packman sugar (preferably healthy sugar) it will gobble that and the chemo more readily 🤗

Thanks Mark. Great video - I've just a similar diet/approach to healthy eating and been struggling to keep to it (also fighting Stage 4 cancer). Your video is an inspiration.

Fabulous video Mark. So very helpful for not only combating cancer, but those who are lactose and gluten intolerant. Even just healthier eating in general. When I had to cut out lactose and gluten from my diet, I was so lost as to what I could eat or how to prepare new meals. You are an inspiration to all and should really write a book about your journey, the foods you exclude and include, with recipes. It would help so many. I'd be first in line 😁 Praying for your full recovery 🙏

I’m on the 16/8 and feeling wonderful. I also have a little fish and chicken and tons of Veges and green salad. I’ve cut out a lot of your Outs and use your Ins too. 11:09 Thank You for confirming that I’m on the right Path xo🌹🙏

What about free range eggs Mark? All the best to you and your other half who is looking after you so beautifully (getting up early to meal prep etc)

Im in remission from the (C) but I am so confused as what to eat...You are right in that you get so many different diet suggestions was vegan before so I decided to eat mostly vegetarian now with some fish and eggs and veggies and lentils and legumes...I still like some quinoa or lentil pasta though...I make most food from scratch....Almost like your so glad I found your channel..
