Jensen is Scandinavian... but a family name, never a first name. It's actually in top 3 most common last names here in denmark, ruling number one for many years in my childhood untill overtaken in recent years. It's derived from back when your last name would be your fathers name and then son or daughter attatched in the end Jens(the first name version)-søn =Jensøn=Jensen
