DIY: Ocularis™ Plugs from a Tree

Worried about the 'what if loose my Ocularis plug'?? Well, worry no more, with a bit of imagination and a sharp pocket knife you can be up and running in no time.

Just bought my 6th simple shot slingshot. Having a refresher on different ways to use the plugs. Stumbled on this video, much respect and very kind teaching people how to make there own plugs. I have a couple of pairs myself. But people the rubber plugs are so cheap and are so amazingly adaptable, fantastic design.. so buy your replacements!

Leatherman wave for the win I used yellow Willow for plugs my friend and I traded and I got his old ocularis for a few bandsets but they didn't have plugs so I improvised

OK, this just absolutely made up my mind about something. I'm waffling back and forth about getting an Ocularis or a Scout Gen 2 slingshot. There's no way I want to sit around whittling wood to get some plugs to make my slingshot work. I have bigger frish to fy.

I bought spares. Red is really pink though so it will be for emergency use. :P

My ocularis plug popped out while shooting and is lost in the yard so i guess ill try this
