Man, I did a high school paper on this kind of tech in 2006. To think that it's come this far.

if your kids ever get out of hand you can also whoop them with it while watching Family guy at the same time

I'd bring that to school and lay it on my desk

It's really cool but I can't imagine what use there would be for it, maybe like wallpaper to cover a whole wall and have a beautiful scenic view that changes in real time to the day. That would be pretty awesome.

Found this after they announced the new rollable TV. So amazing how far technology has come.

The foreshadowing in this video is amazing.

I would love a e-book that looks and feels like a real book, but with switchable contents

If this ends up being perfected and can wirelessly connect to the data on my smartphone this will be a real asset on any construction site I work at. No more lugging around a giant book containing hundreds of fregile giant format working drawings. No special work table to read the drawing on. No dedicated work drawing trailer. No more paying hundreds or thousands of dollars just to copy a set of drawings. Even if this roll up AMOLED display costs $10000 it will have payed for itself for a single individual contractor working on a large project. I can see tradesmen stepping over each other to get their hands on these just to read a set of working drawing on their terms and convenience.

You can roll it up and stick it where the sun don't shine

I thought of making a technology like that 9years ago after seeing how papers are hanged everywhere in the metro train but i never knew who to talk to to make it work. Now it has come through. Nice one LG keep it up.

a guy in japan made something like this in 1990, look it up. he even made a wax paper that can take a literal screenshot by pressing the paper against the screen.
