@SuperPitbullMan You can with a thermostat but for easier operation you might want to consider our intellitemp heat mat which is on our website. Also the intellitemp can be used with wood where the repti-therm cannot.

does no one show the temp when it trun because i have on it barely heats up is that right it bin on for 3hr now

I live in UK and thinking getting one for my Sculata Tortise new vivarium as he getting big now and know cant use it on wood but will be fine if I place glass on bottom of wooden vivarium then place Zoo Med ReptiTherm Habitat Heat on top of it?

Ok i have a question im considering biying a tortoise and the zoo med tortoise house now would this fit inside? Or what other heating pad youll recomend? This would be indoors with the tortoise house

I am setting up an outdoor habitat for my bearded dragons and already purchased one of these. I need something that can be placed into the outdoor house (still on order) and keep them comfortable through the winter (we're in sacramento, CA... not the harshest winter, but it does get cold). Can I place a blanket over this to prevent direct contact (perhaps too hot)? I've seen other people bolt this to the roof of the outdoor house. Any suggestions?
