Updating metadata in a file geodatabase using XML

In this demo, you'll see how to update existing metadata in a file geodatabase using FME Workbench. We'll run through an example that updates the summary field by reading the geodatabase, sending the data through XML transformers, and loading it back with a geodatabase writer. Note that you can also update metadata using sources like CSV or Microsoft Excel, by setting your update value in the XMLUpdater to an attribute containing the desired field. Note also that some metadata fields are populated automatically so can't be updated this way.
