Firing up a BRC YZM500!

Getting the Dirt Bike Magazine BRC Racing Yamaha 500 all broken in and shaken down before it gets some motos 🤠 What pro would you guys like to see on this 500 for an ERA’s challenge with?

By far and away the best motorcycle ive ever owned. I did mine a little differently. I actually bought a brand new 2018 yz250f frame and subframe, mocked up with a foam yz250 2 stroke engine i made myself on my grandpa's mill, ordered a brand spankin new '23 yz250 engine, sent bottom end to pro circuit and told them it was to be a 500, ordered the kit, put some pro circuit 52mm Kayaba bumper forks with pro circuit tclamps, pro circuit '20 yz450f rear shock and linkage, full titanium pro circuit exhaust with an r304 carbon. Lectron carb, vforce carbon reeds, all black plastics with chrome purple Yamaha die cuts on shrouds ceramic coated over thats it. Black wheels with purple hubs, oil slick nips, polished spokes. I stripped the swingarm and powdercoated it black like the frame. The tank is raw carbon, i painted it with this transparent purple rattle can, some good ppg water based clear coat out of my gun on top and i have a purple tinted carbon tank it looks so sick. So im helping a local company test upgraded clutches for these 500 swaps. The ones that use a 250 bottom end. Theyre local where i live (reno. Nevada). Reason i mention it is because i would love to send you a kit and get your feedback. No pressure, no obligations. We wont even speak on the fact you tested it for us if you dont want us to whether you love or hate it. I would just send you one but i need your specs, weight, and what bike you want to try it on. No slippers yet, theyre all hydraulic so if you want one for your yz the install isnt as easy but, its nothing a relatively mechanically inclined person cant complete as long as they have all the tools they need. Oh if ur wondering if the bike works, dude....SSSAAAADUDE!!! Like i said, and ive owned, ridden, raced every single full sized dirt bike you can think of, it's the best motorcycle ive ever thrown a leg over. Personally, i really love the '18 yz250f. But im 6'5 240 lbs. A 250f isn't at all enough bike i wring my pretty trick '22 yz450's neck so, yeah. But im crazy about the handling. With suspension from the 450 it brought everything together to complete what is, in the 28 years of racing and riding ive enjoyed, the finest and most squared away dirt bike ive ever ridden. My 15 year old son even loves it. And 15 year old boys hate EVERYTHING except their girlfriend and the shower... who takes 30 minutes to shower!?!? Yes!! That would be a 13-17 year old young man you're correct.

I myself had grown up in two stroke world and started when I was a 11 years old on a 1981 YZ-80 ❤ then went to RM-250 then went to street at 16 years old 😳 but couldn't give up on two stroke. So it was time for the infamous RZ-350 and damn! that thing could fly 😮 1985 mod. Kenny Roberts limited edition. BTW my father worked with Kenny so my café race bike was a bit modified 😂 like a lot more than was street legal lol. Anywho I ended up with a 1987 YZ-490 brand new of the showroom floor and what a beast it was also owned a CR-500 but weak as hell and just felt like shit being on it 😳 sorry to drop knowledge on you but you are riding the most amazing bike ever to be built. 😃💯 I have yet, not to ride. 🤪 Sounds smooth AF my oil mix was 16-1 race or 20-1 ride in the 490 🤔 ran Amsoil in all of my bikes. That's sending it for sure. 😊 she's fast as f-ck 😮 look at them ruts. 😂😅 came back with a lid. So he can enjoy the Rush! Dopamine 😂 I was young once. I can tell you that when you shut down for the night. It feels like everything around you is slow 🐌 and boring. Lol. 😂 🚀

I moved to florida an was gonna do a riders school but my bike had got stolen...an the new CR 250R 91 Never had grease on its linkage after traiting Tim Ferrys RRP team bike which the owner gave me crap for...so i was bike less i went to a localvtrack an told them about my school idea..an the owner an promoter both had 92 an 91 kx 500s...after initially thinking ok going pro at 37 is gonna may be not work...BUT IN TOTALLY RESPECT TO KAWASAKI. The 92 KX 500 felt like a 250 with a big bore i already was the holeshot master an now with the 500 every one told me how good the roost felt in turn one....14 years an i never been roosted in turn one ...that 500s KX was really a great had a 1988 KX 125 i went stage 3 on the mods...so the 500 was the same bike just a little more weight....more power is always good if its in the right spot in the powerband...i ve seen that BBR YZ 500 kit...an its sounds light weight an like a 125 brahppp..definately dont sound like a
