Kurzgesagt sure seems to love flip flopping between "Here's a terrifying existential nightmare to keep you awake at night!" to "Here's a serious topic that you should probably be aware of" to "Hey! Check out this cool fact I found!" *...I'm sure you can guess where this one lies...*

4:35 Well, those 58 Deaths have to be spread out somehow! It's simultaneously pretty small in the grand scheme of things, but also pretty large when you consider that's 58 people *every **_WEEK!_* And that's just for the people watching this video! There's probably a much higher count for people dying from preventable deaths each week...
7:23 Humans have that unique oddity of being both incredibly fragile and also incredibly resilient. One guy might get killed while tripping on the last step of some stairs, another will come out of a flaming plane wreck with just scratches and burns. I'm certain that depending on how you fall, you could easily end up with either a permanent injury/ disability or just rescinded life privileges...
8:49 It's crazy to me that self-harm has become so statistically common that now it's one of the "more common ways you might die next week". I don't know what that says about people or society or the world. But it is genuinely pretty sad.
9:09 Most of the time, it seems to just boil down to 2 reasons: a) "Hurting this guy will somehow benefit me physically or mentally" b) "I've suffered in some way, so everyone else must share in my suffering too" the rest is just people who are genuinely insane or psychopathic and well... you can't exactly reason with them.

I wonder if Kurzgesagt is going to make a video in a year or so from now talking about the effect of this video and if they really HAVE heard of stories from their viewers who've changed their habits and potentially averted disaster as a result... or perhaps stories of those who didn't heed their warnings and fell victim to these traps... Let's hope the former are MUCH more common than the latter!

GUESS WHO GOT HIS MEMBERSHIP BACK BABY HAHA!

Anyways, I saw someone else comment this first and I 100% agree with them. You should watch Meta Runner S1, S2 and S3 (each has 10 or 8 episodes so it isn't too long). It's Glitch Productions very first animated series and it is still one of my favourite series to date. The ending shattered my heart to the point where I still feel bittersweet whenever I come back to the series.

Also, there's still 1 ep of "Assassinated" you haven't watched. I assume you have millions and millions of videos lined up to still watch (considering you even have to outsource videos to the weekends now) but I just wanted to let you know in case you ever want/get the chance to get to it. ^^
