Heading to Meganisi Sea Cave/Ionian Greek Islands

Meganisi Sea Cave - a mystical surreal place. The locals tell a story about a big submarine that was hiding here during WW2. The cave has been named after the submarine - Papanikolis. It’s believed that the submarine was camouflaging in the mammoth #cavern after attacking the Italian #armada. The #islanders were #secretly delivering food to the #mariner #soldiers.
