Early 2020, yung original version ang halos naging theme song namin. Napakasarap naman kasing umasa sa pag-ibig na tila laging pinagtatagpo ng tadhana. Sino nga ba ang hindi kakapit sa pag-asa na against all odds e finally nandoon na kayo sa punto na eto na, nagawa n'yo na maging katuparan.

Kaso late 2021, hindi nagwork. May mga ego na hindi kayang iset aside. May mga bitbit na hindi pa nabibitawan. And siguro itong secret version ang para sa amin talaga. May mga pag-ibig na dadaan pero hindi mananatili, hanggang sa matututunan mong maging masaya na at least kahit papaano naranasan mo.

my mother is battling a cancer, and this is the song that i listen to on my low moments or when it's her chemo week. the line "dito ka na lang habang buhay" and "anong gagawin kung wala ka", perfectly describes my desperation that she stays with me forever, though i am aware that we are bound to leave someday and with the secret verse, it brings comfort to me na, not everyone will stay, and if the time came that i won't be able to see them again anymore, i'll just go back to the memories we made.

the line “anong gagawin kung wala ka?” of bawat piyesa sounds like asking that question to yourself. wondering where will you be in life without being independent enough to carry yourself and to sail the ocean of your existence. “dito ka na lang habambuhay” part basically tells you to hold on, to keep going, and to stay existent no matter how hard life may treat you. the whole song is telling yourself that at the end of the day, someone you can only depend on is you.

I saw someone posted a comment about his/her mom battling cancer. My mom died of breast cancer on January 29th of 2022 and ever since I heard this song, I would play this for weeks until today. We cannot bring back the person back, only the memory that was made. She was so precious, my mom. and if everything else, I wish I could hug one more time. Just one more time, I beg. I miss her so much that every time I hear this song I would scroll on my gallery just to feel that I am with her.

I sang this song to the loveliest lady I've ever met a few months ago. In which she smiled the whole time while her eyes were locked on mine. Grabe yung feeling, it really felt like time stopped. A month ago I came across Bawat Piyesa secret verse live video dito sa youtube. It devastated me as last month was really a cruel time for me. What we were having was gone all of a sudden and I had nothing else to do but accept it.
