I’m heading there to surf in 6 weeks time for a surf trip. Do you recommend the hotel you were in, or did you see any good beachfront hotels? What about restaurants for the best local food?

Things are changing in the country, now it’s very safe, no more pandillas very secure now, I’m seeing European, USA citizens, Canadian, and of course most of centroamericanos move to live there we should ask for a visa to get in the country as the north countries do

Most of the surfers surf by El Tunco, that’s why you didn’t see any non-Hispanic tourists. There probably were tourists there from the USA but they blend in with the local population since they’re originally from El Salvador
