I (an Indian) started my career as a research assistant in India for scholars and professors from Europe and America. Then secured a prestigious teaching position at the American Institute of Indian Studies (stationed in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India). Then taught at a couple American universities for seven years. All my life I have had female students attracted to me emotionally or otherwise. The best remedy was to introduce them to my beautiful wife, and forge a sister-brother; then uncle-niece kind of bond during they were my students; and after they were not. It was very easy. I never had any problem. Females with self respect will NEVER impose themselves upon a male—at least such has been my perception and experience. Yes, in my firm opinion it's the elder's (male or female) duty to put the younger one in correct line of thinking.

Tony Lord and Sam Robb, both in their teens, are best friends and athletic rivals.

This is what happens when you think what your body parts and not your brain. The storyline is not far-fetched from the story lines that we see everyday of teachers violating the trust put on them.
