To keep my socks paired, I bought a 30 pair or 30 pack of white plastic clips from Amazon. When I take off my socks, I clip them together and place them in a mesh lingerie bag. I wash & dry them there and are already paired when it is time to put them away.

I grew up doing the laundry in a family of 10. It was drilled into my head to fold as you take them out of the dryer. I'm still doing it 30 years later.

Sock tip: only buy one color and the same style for each kid. For example- my oldest wears black ankle length, middle wears white mid-shin length, youngest wears white ankle length. It's a life saver not having to match socks!!!

Place dirty sets of socks in a zippered net laundry bag so that you can easily find full sets of socks throughout the wash/drier phases.

I have six kids and I do the no fold :) I also get socks in bulk white and black then either tie-dye each size one color or (for black) sew color thread on each size. Each child has one color of sock so they are easy to separate.
