Happy Birthday WestCoastElevators! Otis Lexan Hydraulic Elevator, High Peaks Resort, Lake Placid, NY

First, and foremost, IT'S WESTCOAST ELEVATORS BIRTHDAY Today!!!!! So let's celebrate with something VINTAGE AND ORIGINAL!!!!! That's right, a VINTAGE 1977 Otis Lexan Hydraulic Elevator!!!!! The motor was nice, it had GAL Lanterns and indicators, but best of all, IT HAD LEXAN FIXTURES!!!! This elevator runs like it was installed yesterday!!!!! Sadly, this hotel was undergoing an elevator modernization, and 2 of the elevators in this hotel were already modded by Thyssenkrupp. This was the only original 1970's Otis Lexan Elevator original and in commission at the time this was taken (December, 28th, 2016). Sadly, as of now, this elevator is now modernized by Thyssenkrupp. But enjoy, the FIRST and LAST video of any of the elevators here in original condition as nobody else has filmed here but me. This hotel used to be known as "The Hilton on the Hill" and was built the same year Dieselducy was born. Anyways, enjoy the video, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY WESTCOAST ELEVATORS!!!
