Flattening the items to freeze not only takes up less freezer space, it also makes thawing take way less time. I use a rolling pin and flatten my ground beef inside a gallon freezer bag and make it as flat and even as possible and can thaw it in like 15 mins, which works great when you forget to pull something for dinner out in the morning.

Just jumped over here from your video on the antique scale which I believe my sisters will be getting for Christmas this year. As always, I love going back to previous tips and tricks videos as I always catch something I missed before. Thank you for helping me stay organized. Love and hugs.

There are so many genius ideas here and I've not heard of a good 90% of them. Am I living under a rock??? I loved the pants hanger too keeps recipes from getting wet and dirty. I love the idea with the keyhole to help hang items. I loved freezing food flat and then standing them upright in a wire basket. I can't pick just one!

I can't believe I missed this video, thanks for linking it with your "antique" scale dupe. Instead of pool noodles in my boots, I use an empty liter bottle. I've been doing this for about 5 years now, same bottles in my boots. I use pool noodles as support (like a skeleton) inside amigurumis (crocheted toys) that will be used for display only. Right now I'm working on a R2D2 for my DIL'S elementary school and using the pool noodle for it's spine...I used pool noodles for the legs of my Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. I hope these suggestions helps someone else 😎

To add to the dishwasher one, I use a mesh laundry bag to corral all the small baby items that usually get thrown around in the dishwasher, baby spoons, teethers etc

One of my favorites is attaching Command cord bundlers to appliances to keep the cords neat between uses. Also, I sometimes add a plastic clip to hold a measuring scoop right on a container. Another is, I attached an inexpensive napkin holder to the wall behind my coffeemaker to hold filters, which had previously lived messily in a cabinet. There are so many possibilities for cheap or free fixes and add-ons to make life easier and better organized, just look around and use your imagination!

I love all of the vintage items you made, especially the scale! Then came here and am so happy I did. These are wonderful tips and so are all of the tips in the comments.
My contribution-I recently stored some craft supplies in cardboard boxes in the attic. Rather than write a list of the contents, I took a “group photo” of the contents in each box and used the wide clear tape to tape the pictures onto the boxes, fully covering the pictures with the tape to protect them. In the future, I may forget what a certain item description means, but there will be no having to figure it out when looking at a photo. I also took a photo of my car’s license plate and stored it away because I can never remember it! If you ask others you’ll see that they have the same problem😊 God bless!
