It's hilarious that a company pretending to be a Japanese company is suing Manchester City for being sponsored by a real Japanese company, specifically the one that The first company initially copied to pretend to be Japanese.

Asahi super dry has been around a lot longer than the silly clothing brand that was made to make money off naive kids

Are you kidding me. SuperDry the clothing store literally made money off of pretending to be Japanese related this whole time

Super Dry is going bust that's why they are suing, free publicity if they loose and a pay out if they win.
As Puma manufacture the training kits I'm struggling to understand why Super Dry aren't suing Puma ?

Asahi super dry has been there longer then super dry, one could argue Asahi are going to sue super dry

The training kit has a massive Asahi logo below the super dry tag… no one is going to think it’s some washed brand that was relevant 15 years ago

If Asahi’s slogan is “Super Dry” then clearly this is an issue between Superdry and Asahi not Man City 😂

Asahi have been using the Super "Dry" slogan for several decades... in fact when Superdry clothing came out I thought they chose that name because they are copying Japanese styles and ripped it off Asahi.

I'm no City fan but in this instance I hope they wipe the floor with SuperDry.

You can’t own super “dry” as that’s a general description that could be applied to products without connection to the clothing brand. It’s the reason asahi can use it because it’s allowed

Superdry as a brand has not been appealing to anyone since 2013.

Man, city seem to really have difficulty managing their accounts with their sponsors, they are either pissing them off or getting used as a shadow bank to top up revenue. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer team.❤l

I’ve literally never heard of a clothing company called SuperDry until now.

I think them sueing them in itself degrades their image 😂 what a self fulfilling prophecy
