Great walk-through. In case anyone is wondering about the "glitch" around t=1 in the scope output, it's because the Step block turns on at t=1 by default instead of at t=0.

where does that kink at t=1 come from? It should be a smooth curve. At least the analytic solution suggests that. I guess it has something to do with the zero crossing
