So glad they gave us an update to see how she’s doing. I had just watched the original documentary from several years ago, and I happen to be about the same age. A lot to be thankful for.

She has the right to say that her immune system is a literal juggernaut.

Me: I have a good immune system. COVID made me unwell for 1.5 days
Jeanna: Hold my beer.

Recently lost a loved one who was placed into a medically induced coma so seeing Jeanna be able to grow up and have a family makes me very happy she was able to get a second chance at life and really make it count. Beautiful

Wow that's amazing, rabies is one of those things I wasn't afraid of until I learned more about it.

I remember hearing her talk years ago and she had some difficulty. Now she sounds like a totally normal girl from Wisconsin.

I heard about this story years ago from Radiolab. I'm so glad to see she's doing well now.

The start of potential immune systems that can fight of rabies all starts with her and her kids.

God bless you Jeanna Giese and always watch out when you encounter a wild animal and keep your distance.

Tough for sure. Rabies is one of very few diseases that truly scare me...even HIV can be managed these days. But rabies can still be considered a death sentence if you look at the numbers. And she beat it.

Long recovery, other videos of her, she doesn't talk as well. But she beat it.

The first one, but now she is one of 29. We're finally making progress against this cruel disease. I could not be more grateful to doctors and researchers who have made this possible.

I guess you know how lucky you are to have family and or friends that love and stand with you. Without that I'd say it is nearly impossible to recover at all.

Isn't it like zombie movies? Zombie virus infected people have no cure and will die but only rare people have immunity against it!! she's special!

My respects to this woman for surviving this horrible disease. Rabies is such a awful disease, she is one of the 14 who survived rabies
