Do you have a TV show on PBS or the Food Network? Because you should. I would watch your stuff everyday you were on. I recently just discovered your channel but you've really helped me in selecting the right fruits and veggies for my new diet as I recently discovered I have severe stomach ulcers. You've also taught me that in the past I've made some very serious errors in my initial produce selection that turned me off entirely from fruits that if I had actually waited till their peak ripeness would have probably been absolutely delicious. I noticed you haven't done any recent videos and I hope I didn't stumble across your channel too late and that in the future you will be making more. Thank you so much for your information Produce Guy, you are truly wonderful and almost as much of a treat to watch as the fresh fruit you suggest to be eaten! :D

How should the tamarillo be stored? I recently bought some from a local market and putting them in the fridge made them quite soft quick. I was wondering if they would last longer being left out on the counter?

Interesting, I've never heard of these... I recently found out however, that I can't eat nightshade plants (tomatoes potatoes eggplant etc) But I find that I miss tomatoes quite a bit, is there something else I could substitute for them?

The 'i' in Tamarillo is the same as the 'i' in tin, and the double 'l' is pronounced as is in the word 'lolly'. The word tamarillo is not French or Spanish - it was a marketing ploy developed in Aotearoa New Zealand, as it sounded more exotic than 'tree tomato'.
