Australia to fast track visa approvals for highly skilled workers

Australia’s visa system is set to undergo a major overhaul.

The new changes will fast-track visa approvals for skilled workers into Australia.

The system will see approved applicants welcomed into the country within weeks rather than months.

The rules are most likely to apply only to highly skilled workers earning between $120,000 to $150,000 per year.

The government will announce the changes as part of its soon-to-be-released migration review.
