I dont get it. If you aint going to use a guy, why not let him work in other promotions that isn't WWE. It only helps everyone involved for when you want to use him. But i believe Tony is being so petty because of the Punk situation along with Ricky being friends with Cody.

Not sure what Ricky can do with the contract extension. But he wasnt hurt. He was avaliable. So maybe he can fight that. But obviously court is expensive.
