Oblique Shock Example - Dealing with Reflections

Показать описание
In this problem we deal with an oblique shock that reflects off of a wall. Now, reflection is a bit of a strong word. Don't think of this as light bouncing off of a mirror. The reflection is there because the flow has to turn again before it hits another boundary. The shock wave gets created by the sudden need to turn. We are going to use our tables a ton and will finally explain one of the equations we have been using for quite some time.

I am still confused about the realtion between Phi and (beta-theta)... is this true for all cases when the flow after the shock is parallel to the wall?
