NEET UG 2025 in offline mode: The National Testing Agency-NTA announced that the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test NEET-UG-2025 will be conducted under new rules & schedule. This follows controversies surrounding allegations of malpractice in the 2024 examination. NEET-UG 2025 will be held in a pen-and-paper format, i.e.,OMR based, conducted on a single day in a single shift. The NTA confirmed this through an official notification, putting an end to speculation about shifting the exam to an online mode or conducting it in multiple phases.
The notification states that “As decided by the National Medical Commission, it is informed that the NEET-UG-2025 shall be conducted in Pen and Paper mode (OMR-based) in a Single day &Single Shift.” NEET UG 2025 in offline mode:

the exact date for NEET2025 has not been announced. However, the NTA previously indicated that the registration process would begin in early 2025, likely in February or the first week of March.

Additionally, candidates will be required to use their Aadhaar numbers when completing the NEET 2025 application process.
