When you plot the spectrograms, your x-axis is not starting from zero. I observe this when I plot spectrograms as well, with the beginning and ending of my signal getting cut off. Do you know why this occurs?

Sir,
I have created a spectrogram for a 5-sec wave. The 2-D spectrogram has:
x-axis: 0 to 5 secs
y-axis: 1 to 100 Hz.

Now I need to assign a whole 15Hz signal from 0 to 5 seconds vector from the spectrogram to a variable. Please help me.
