Rare Buescher Alto Saxophone "Aristocrat" Model, Serial #292,944 (1937). It's come to us in superb original condition but wearing almost very dark original lacquer finish that's worn maybe 10%. This is one of the "real" Aristocrat models, with screw-in Norton springs and "snap in" Buescher pads. Yes it now has all new pads and corks. Arguably the best Buescher alto ever made, still cherished by those of the Rascher school of saxophone playing. Superb intonation, easy to get the low notes, very good original case. Top recommendation, best buy price! $1945

Great Demo. I don't know how these horns aren't more popular. There's something about the sound of vintage american horns. Thanks for sharing.

thats not a series 1, its a 140 model/ maybe big b

this is a Big B which Buescher started producing in either 1940 or 1941 and they stopped putting the G# trill key on the horn around 1945 so this horn is from sometime between 1940 and 1945

more like 1957 with the wide band style key gaurds, if it was 1937 the key gaurds would be wire style.
