This 9th segment walks through the first year of our comprehensive example of deferred taxes. We go through the logic of the first year step by step, starting with determining whether the differences are permanent or temporary, then moving on to the 7 steps we’ve already practiced for making the adjusting entry for deferred taxes. Finally, we briefly discuss the financial statement presentation of the tax information we’ve calculated.
