You cannot justify lying to anyone for any reason and think it should be excused. A lie is a lie. Untruthful communication deserves huge consequences in life.

I feel so much for Natalie! I remember feeling totally freaked out mentally when I first was pregnant. It was a roller coaster of emotions, being a very wanted and planned pregnancy, but the hormone shifts do it. I was not treated kindly at the mental health department when I sought help. They pushed Zoloft on me, saying that if I felt so off then, that I could be even worse later. I didn’t take the medication and soon felt much better regardless as the pregnancy progressed, but it was still physically exhausting and hard overall. Later I did get genetic testing that showed that I am a poor metabolizer of the vast majority of antidepressants, so I am so glad that I did not succumb to the pressure. I filed a grievance eventually with my HMO, but they said it was too long ago for them to address it. At least I got it off my chest.

My husband and I also got pregnant pretty quickly and were surprised but grateful. I have friends who it took awhile. You never know until you’re trying.

That's just weird! I also remember Natalie saying that they were 'not not trying' to have a baby like a year ago and that she's never been on birth control.. that's the complete opposite of getting pregnant on first try. At this point I'm not sure I believe anything that comes out of Nick's mouth anymore. These two will say anything for clicks 😂

Pregnancy is tough. Honestly it was harder than birth and the newborn stage for me. I was puking constantly for 12 consecutive weeks. I remember crying to my mom wondering if I would feel this way for the rest of my pregnancy.

Well done for yet more excellent content Dave, you are the go to channel for top coverage of all the latest news. I used to watch the Viall files when Nic first started podcasting and I find him greatly changed, so is Natalie since she first appeared with him. Remember the Dear Shandy episode with the two of them? They both seem more bitchy and not as kind and calm and that’s put me off, they are just ordinary people. I wish them well but I don’t enjoy their sense of celebrity. Compared to them Sharleen and Andy are a breath of normality and kindness. It takes all sorts to make a world. There are so many opinions. Charity has led the way recently on being a normal, straightforward and kind person.

I think he told everyone the correct gender & he just said he didn’t, so people wouldn’t let it get out, Otherwise he would lose friends when they found out he didn’t trust them with the truth.

I think Natalie’s comment that “the doctor saw a little he-hoo” shows it’s a girl… immediate response is to justify how it could have been incorrectly told as a boy!
