The drive is located in the c drive meaning it takes space from the c drive. Meaning that if you don't have 1 tb on your c drive you're screwed you're pc will run out of space and permanently shut down. Don't do this by making the drive you're harming the actual c drive which will run out of space if you don't have 1 tb of space on your c drive or higher.

Only had 100Gb left on my "C" drive but made 20x 100Tb VHDs "D" to "W". It used up the last of my drive space but I now have 2000Tb of VHD space. In use, its as good as my 1024Tb thumb drive I got down my local market for $5. This is the best idea you have posted since the one where you clean the loo with your tooth brush and then brush your teeth without even rinsing it.

hey guys so basically what your creating is a seperate drive and more likely a shortcut necause when you download apps or game to that drive its using your main drive so it still uses space at your current hard drivee
