Respect for others is a very concrete and simple subject. 👍🏼
The line between respect and abuse is actually very easy to draw.

I have had this multiple times now at the cubes and I feel best way is to put them directly in the same situation as the animals. “So, if you were in the truck headed to the slaughterhouse, totally fine because morality is subjective”?

i’m vegan, but i absolutely cannot stand by morality being objective. it seems so problematic to say something is truth without reasonable responsibility. which no one can honestly or objectively have.

Or an other example that is more comparable than kicking: "So you are saying that it is subjectiv, whether or not a Holocaust is immoral."

Yeah the moral "fair" choice is always objective. Sometimes it's difficult to find, but not when it comes to stabbing innocent beings for pointless num nums.

Exactly. Replace yourself with the trillions of animals being tortured and killed, and tell the people coming to save you that you’re ok, their morals are subjective.

Very good and effective answer! ..however they might respond that "we can't compare humans to animals" and sometimes I really don't wanna hear that.. I'm sick of it!
So, in order to prevent that, I often say that subjectiveness is about the individual perception, whereas exploiting animals is a society construct(as is tradition, which they always appeall to as well), therefore when they raise those two arguments, they contraddict themselves talking about subjectiveness, because our perception is constantly manipulated by propaganda and confused with the concept of legality, therefore socially accepted. I know it is much more complicated to explain but even they like to overcomplicate and in a way I think that non-vegans subconsciously want to know the truth, so it is worth giving it a try.

Ps. I believe we have a "moral insinct".. which is very respectful and compassionate!

So your response to the whole subjective or objective nature of morality is to make an appeal to emotion fallacy?

Every sentient being seeks pleasure. That's something we all objectively have in common. We can come to the conclusion that suffering is bad and pleasure is good. That is objectively true.

That is wrong though. Morality is simply human judgement and opinion. By definition of the word objective, it cannot be objective. Anything that can be a choice including human actions is by definition subjective.
