The lower trim Cerato engine option produces 112 kW and 192 Nm. The Cerato GT comes with a 1.6 L turbo with 150 kW and 265 Nm. Not only is the amount of torque higher, but you get to use it almost all the time as all of it is available from 1500 to 4500 revs.

In terms of safety, the two lower trims do benefit from an additional safety pack that is available, while this one and the GT above are pretty packed as standard.

Compared to the pre-facelift model, there isn’t that much difference, although nip tucks come in some great areas, virtually making the latest Cerato more polished than before.

I’ve been so out of the loop that I was surprised when I first discovered it came with dual transmissions. 😅

I wonder why Australia gets the Cerato instead of the Ceed

1. What type of corolla did you show? 2. Why drive through a cemetery?
Very strange
Having owned a Kia Sportage (with the same drive train as this car) your comments about performance is also strange. I found the engine excellent with plenty of power! How fast do you want in a normal car? I also ride a Yamaha MT09....So I know performance!

I have one as a loan car as someone who had their license 3 weeks ploughed into the side of me, sure its nice to look at but it is so underwhelming to drive and you sometimes wish you were deaf with the amount of annoying sounds, beeping and buzzing the car makes and why would a car like this need traction control.... LOL it is such a joke, not to mention these safety features that are more distracting than useful to someone that can actually drive so I turn off everything I can and the only mode worth driving in is sport as its the closest to feeling like you are driving a car instead of a blender with wheels.

150hp from a 2.0L? The 320i had that much power from a 2.0L 30 years ago!
