Good presentation, my anecdotal experiences correlate given my personality type, behaviors and long term response to psychedelics. (Or lack of one, I can compartmentalize and rationalize it anything, similar to when he mentioned the difference between accepting emotions and emotional control.) I compare it to running software in a VM.

Hey maybe someone can answer my question. I'm not a scientist so feel free to criticize things I claim here. But aren't most of the Antidepressants and Neuroleptics (MAOs not included) acting as antagonists on the 5-htp2a receptors. Wich causes in this case a downregulation of this receptor. Wouldn't that mechanism of action cause actually more pathology than less? Less empathy and so on.
There are even people who claim to lack the effect of Psycedelics after longtime AD intake? If you consider the hippies who brought up the thesis of "War on consciousness" and dropped out of our social structure. Couldn't Ads and Neuroleptics act as a kind of social Conditioning for stability and control on the people who are unsatisfied with our culture to a severe extend (depression, and most ICD F category)? Sure this question can't be answered y/n. So would be pleased to have some opinions, maybe a discourse?
