I remember when my voice started changing at the age of 12 & 3/4- 13 (which was only 2 years ago). My voice changed quite a bit. You would definitely notice the difference between my voice then and now, so this is understandable. However, if Gumball and Darwin grew older as the years in real life went by, this wouldn't be a problem. For example, Gumball and Darwin start out at 12 years old. Then a year passes, and they become 13, another year passes, they become 14, and so on. If they were like that, they would be able to keep the same actor no matter how long the show ran. But they wanted to keep them 12 years old because they wanted them to go through a decent amount of adventures at that age.

I personally think this way of voicing him fits with the meta aspect of the show and also feels more authentic.

It’s not exactly a secret they made fun of the fact that they switch voice actors by changing them while they said that they were irreplaceable.

I watched the show as Gumball and Darwin changed voice actors throughout the seasons.
And my favorite voice actors for Gumball was Logan and Jacob.
They were the best ones in my opinion and honestly, it broke my heart seeing that the both of them got recasted. And as for Darwin's recent voice actor, my only complaint is that his voice seemed younger. And it really felt off to me and bothered me. And I agree, they'll probably have to keep on changing Gumball's voice if they keep on show going...I know there was supposed to be a movie and another season in the works. And I'm excited but also scared on if it will be the same or not...But I agree with Jacob, all of the voice actors of Gumball and Darwin should team up in a future episode. Or something like that. But I agree with everything that your saying. Gumball shouldn't last forever and will have to come to an end eventually. But I would like it better if they finally found permanent voice actors for both Gumball and Darwin and not kept on switching them out because their getting older and going through puberty.

I don't know where you got this claim from that the Gumball voice actors stopped voice acting because they didn't. Logan Grove quit acting but only to become an athlete and later joined the Navy and has expressed interest in returning to acting since that was his first passion, it is only a matter of time before he decides to do it. Jacob went on to become an anime dub voice actor and even voiced the main character in the anime "To Your Eternity, ". Also, the Minecraft clip you showed of Nicolas Cantu speaking about Gumball shows that he is proud of being known as the voice of Gumball even if he is no longer voicing the character, the guy only stepped away from YouTube because he was bullied by Dreams stans because he made fun of Dream. Nicolas still does acting and even starred in a Steven Speilberg movie and is voicing Leonardo in the new Ninja Turtles movie. They are doing fine and their dreams are not crushed.

I’m a 12 year old girl who wants to become a voice actor but I already have a deep voice 🥲 Also, I wonder why Anais has the same voice actor from season 1-6 when she was also voiced by a child (she isn’t a child anymore).

I don't mind the voice changes, it brings new talent to the show and honestly I like a lot of them and I'm glad I get to hear the different versions. My favorite is either JunkyJanker or Jacob Hopkins since they're both great and I'm glad I could hear both performances

You have to remember that he is a voice actor that has a life just like we do, so he obviously gets older.
