TWS pairing and omnidirectional sound are two big pluses for the Earfun. Tribit has a cleaner sound though. It boggles my my mind that neither of Tribit Bluetooth speakers have TWS. For this reason the Earfun is the clear winner

Some excellent, affordable, less portable bluetooth speakers, ($100 and below) are Anker Soundcore Motion +, Oontz Angle 3 Ultra Pro or XL, Doss Soundbox XL or Doss Soundbox Pro +.

I wonder if the Earfun Uboom is a match for the Bose Revolve? There are some reviewers on Amazon claiming exactly that but few of those people actually own a Bose.

Both of these speakers have reviews on Amazon indicating they stop working and the companies will not warranty so buyer beware. The tribit also has micro USB and takes an amazing 4 hours to charge. Imagine how much that adds to your electric bill over time.

I just copped the MaxSound Plus for $39. Tribit were celebrating their 2 anniversary with 30% off on all their products so I had to get. I can’t emphasize how amazing this speaker is for its size and price. So well balanced and clear. All the sound-stages are working harmoniously, none are dominant. Even at 80% volume it sounds great, no breaks in sounds. I’m very appreciative that I was able to cop the MaxSound at a steal price but with that said it sounds like a $150 speaker so even if you pay retail you’re still coming out way ahead. Don’t pay retail though lol

Thanks for this nice video. The Earfun is louder and retains more bass at maximum when out mode is on.

For anyone considering buying a Tribit speaker, this one's very good, as per this excellent review, but... I have just been informed by Tribit, via email, that:

1. Tribit speakers cannot be paired... I quote, "One device can't connect 2 speakers at the same time." I had foolishly bought one and then another, without checking this first, so I have two which I intend to give away. Both.

2. They cannot replace my damaged strap. (very nice shoelace) They also 'cannot' post a video showing how to tie the knots on a shoelace the way they do. I quote, "Please kindly note that we don't have a separate strap and it's not convenient for us to up a video on YouTube." They then proceed to offer me $2.5 for, I quote, "Then you could let someone help you tie those lovely knots for you." I had said "lovely knots" in my nice mail to them requesting a replacement strap as I had damaged mine or please could they show how to do the knots so I can buy a nice shoelace and do it myself to perfection.

So, Maxsound+ is a very good buy at $45 and is, as reviewed here, but... be aware of this stuff. The company's policies are as above, in their own sarcastic words.
