How to Flick in Rocket League

In this video, I give some tips on how to flick! If you are struggling with your flicks, hopefully this video will help you understand why flicks work a little better, and if you understand why they work, it should help you understand HOW to flick. I go over 3 different flicks, ranging from beginner to advanced, in that order. Flicks are tricky, don't get discouraged if it doesn't work for you right away!

this is exactly what good tutorials are - a breakdown of the components of a move, diagrams in slow motion showing the execution, etc. good work! would love to see something like this about wall hits and air dribbles.

Also Virge I think you should've mentioned how on some flicks you may need to hold jump longer to float with the ball. I know it sounds simple and obvious, but it honestly took me soooo long to figure that out. I kept tapping my jump and it'd place the ball much higher than my car. Not taking away from your video though. Really good tutorial.

One important thing that’s important for less experienced players to learn about flicks, namely reverse flicks, is that pretty much 95% of reverse 45 flicks you must hold the jump button down until you dodge into the ball. That’s something that will really help your flick game and is missing from a lot of these tutorials

TLDR; get ball on front left or right of your car, push left or right then push opposite direction to flick. Genius. Simplified this so much for me, thank you guys 👌🏼
