I love Indian food. I know a lot of people who like Indian food as well. But I've meet almost nobody in my life living in a lot of food obsessed cities with plenty of choices who have said Indian food is their favorite. Which is weird because everybody likes it.

Indian food by virtue of it's diversity itself is the best cuisine. It is like a world in itself. You find North East Indian cuisine which is somewhat similar to Thai cuisine to North Indian cuisine similar to Afghan and Pak cuisine to West India which excels in vegetarian food to South India which itself is a cuisine in its own right. I wish I could pick one state of India one day a week and east all their food.
