A weird trick that works for long words in any language, not just Spanish: say the last syllable, then the last two syllables, working your way backwards until you say the whole word. It hacks your mouth somehow. Works every time for everyone I've ever tried it with.

Looked it up. With my limited Spanish and degree in biochemistry I was able to learn that it's basically just a steroid-derived polycyclic hydrocarbon (just in case there are any other chem geeks around)

One of the janitors at my kids elementary taught my youngest how to say a few tongue twisters in Spanish. He got a hoot out of watching this curly haired blonde girl with blue eyes reciting them back to him. My husband, my kids bonus dad, is Mexican and speaks Spanish but he can't do the tongue twisters 😂
