My board and T-cell have both quit working. $800 for the T-15 and $700 for the board (board still works except for the dreaded 'check system no cell power 2" message). I'm now switching over to a chlorine pool! Honestly, I've been tired of fighting PH that is ALWAYS drifting up in a salt pool. I've ordered a cheap bypass dummy cell to replace the T cell. Anything needed to do besides throwing a couple chlorine tablets in a floater each week? Should I drain half the water out and refill to lower the current salt level of around 3200?

I've never daily run my cell at 80% unless I super chlorinate after rain or high bather load. I keep it at 30-40 for 20K pool. I'm not sure if you were just super chlorinating for the algae. But Hayward did not recommend 80.

My T15 was manufactured in 2016.

Only 3 years? Here in Australia cells last 5-10 years
